Your Ultimate Newborn Photography Experience

Newborn sessions are a sweet way to freeze those tiny details and fleeting moments from the first days of your baby’s life. The ideal time to schedule your session is within the first 2-3 weeks of your little one’s arrival—when they’re still extra snuggly and sleepy.

You’re welcome to visit my cozy, baby-focused studio in Embree, or if it feels easier for you, I can come to your home so you can relax in your own space. Either way, you don’t need to pack a thing—I’ve got all the props, wraps, hats, and accessories we’ll need. You just bring your baby, and I’ll take care of the rest!

To ensure availability, I recommend booking your newborn session a few months before your due date. I’ll mark it down on my calendar, and once your baby is here, we can finalize the exact date for the session.

Serving Central Newfoundland and surrounding areas, I’m here to make this experience as easy and stress-free as possible for you and your growing family!

Newborn Questionaire

Welcome to the magical world of newborn photography, where we celebrate those precious early moments together! Our session is all about creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for soothing your little one and making wonderful memories. As you step in, you’ll find a cozy setup designed to wrap your baby in comfort, making it the ideal spot for adorable photos.

Expect our session to last about 2 to 3 hours, giving us ample time for baby snuggles, feeding breaks, and maybe a diaper change or two (it’s all part of the fun!). I’ll be your guide, helping you navigate through playful poses and sweet setups that capture both those close-up cuties and heartfelt family interactions. Looking for an in-home session? We’ll explore different spots in your home—think snuggly nurseries, comfy living rooms, or even that favorite family blanket in the sunlight. I’ll guide you through sweet poses and natural interactions that capture the magic of your family’s unique dynamic. Feel free to gather any cherished props or outfits that reflect your family’s style; maybe that adorable stuffed animal or a cute hat grandma made!

Most importantly, your baby's comfort and safety are my top priorities, so you can relax and enjoy the process. Together, we’ll create stunning images that will warm your heart for a lifetime!

FAQs

When should I book my newborn session?

It’s best to book while you’re still pregnant—ideally in your second or early third trimester. This helps secure a spot around your due date. I know babies run on their own schedules, so once they arrive, we can adjust as needed!

How old should my baby be for the session?

Newborn sessions are best done within the first 2-3 weeks after birth when babies are still super sleepy and snuggly. But don’t worry, I can capture beautiful moments no matter their age!

What if my baby is fussy during the session?

No stress at all! I’m used to working with newborns, and I’ll take breaks for feeding, soothing, and snuggles. We go at baby’s pace, making sure they’re comfortable every step of the way.

What should my baby wear?

Simplicity is key! I’ll provide adorable wraps and outfits, but if you have a special outfit or family heirloom, feel free to bring it along. Most of the magic happens in soft, natural setups.

Can siblings or parents join in the photos?

Absolutely! I love including family in newborn sessions. We’ll capture some sweet moments with parents and siblings as part of the session. Even fur siblings are welcome!

How long does a newborn session last?

Sessions typically run 2-3 hours to allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and those dreamy baby poses. No rush, we take it slow and easy.
